Riyadh Season 2026: private transfers to Riyadh by road

Riyadh Season 2026 opens on 21 October and runs for around ten weeks, with concerts, boxing, wrestling and the Boulevard entertainment zones. If you are coming from elsewhere in the Gulf, we drive you to Riyadh door to door, in a private car with a professional driver, at one fixed price per vehicle.

Why go by road this season

Flights into Riyadh have been disrupted this month, and several airlines are still rebuilding their schedules. By road you leave when you want, travel with all your luggage, and arrive at your hotel rather than an airport. For groups and families, one vehicle often costs less than several last-minute flights.

Check the latest with your airline before you book a flight. If your plans change, see our page on travelling to Riyadh by road during the airport disruption.

    Routes into Riyadh

Every price is per vehicle, not per person, and includes fuel, tolls and border coordination.

    • From Bahrain: one car all the way, across the King Fahd Causeway.
    • From Dammam and Al Khobar: a domestic drive, no border.
    • From Doha: one car all the way through Abu Samra and Salwa.
    • From Kuwait: a car change at the border, coordinated by us.
    • From Abu Dhabi and Dubai: a long day with a car change at Al Ghuwaifat. Many clients stop overnight on the way back.

    Getting the timing right

    • Arrive the day before a big event. Riyadh traffic builds hours before doors open.
    • For night events, book your return for the next morning. Your driver can also wait and drive back the same night on request.
    • Need a car in Riyadh between events? Ask for daily hire with the same driver.

    Visas and documents

GCC nationals enter Saudi Arabia with their national ID. GCC residents and many other nationalities can apply for the Saudi tourist eVisa online at visitsaudi.com before travel. Bring your passport and, for residents, your residence permit. We will remind you what to carry when you book.
