    Route guide

Leaving Bahrain for Dammam is one of the shortest cross-border trips we run, at roughly 70 km. Travellers on it are often working in the Eastern Province, catching a flight from King Fahd International or visiting family. You cross the King Fahd Causeway in the same car, with the same driver, from your door in Bahrain to your address in Dammam. No change of vehicle and no carrying bags between checkpoints.

    Travel time & distance

    Duration

    ~1–1.5 hours

    Distance

    ~70 km

Allow 1 to 1.5 hours. The road itself is short; the causeway sets the pace. Queues build at weekends and around public holidays, and can stretch the trip towards the upper end. Early weekday departures usually clear both checkpoints fastest.

    Flying out of Dammam

King Fahd International (DMM) lies well north of central Dammam, so an airport drop adds some distance compared with a city address. Give us your departure time and we set the Bahrain pick‑up with room for a causeway queue. It is a practical option when a connection or fare out of DMM suits you better than one from BAH.

    Border crossing process

    King Fahd Causeway

This route crosses the King Fahd Causeway between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Unlike other borders, the journey is completed in the same vehicle, without a vehicle change.

    1. 1Arrive at the Bahraini exit checkpoint - passports stamped out
    2. 2Drive across the causeway to the Saudi entry checkpoint
    3. 3Saudi visa and vehicle documentation processed
    4. 4Customs inspection and clearance
    5. 5Continue into Dammam via the Eastern Province highway network

    Crossing the causeway in practice

Your passport is stamped out at the Bahraini checkpoint, then the car moves on to the Saudi side. There, your entry and the vehicle papers are processed, and customs may inspect the car. You never unload your luggage or walk between posts. Your driver knows the lanes and the paperwork. Keep passports and any Saudi e-visa printout within reach, not packed in the boot.

Bahrain to Dammam, door to door

We collect across Bahrain: Manama, Seef, Juffair, Amwaj Islands, Riffa and Bahrain International Airport (BAH). On the Saudi side we drop in central Dammam, at King Fahd International Airport (DMM) and at hotels, compounds and offices across the Eastern Province.
