Route guide
This transfer is built around a flight. You leave Dubai with a UAE driver, cross the Hatta border by shuttle bus between the posts, and an Omani driver takes you straight to Muscat International Airport (MCT). We plan the pick‑up time back from your departure, so you reach the terminal with time to check in. It suits travellers flying out of Muscat for a route or fare that works better than one from Dubai.

Breakdown
The drive takes about 6 to 7 hours. Leaving Dubai through morning or evening traffic adds time before the open road to Hatta. The border is the main variable; the final approach to MCT is usually straightforward. We work back from your flight time and add a margin for the crossing.
Working back from your flight

- Aim to reach MCT about 3 hours before an international departure
- Early morning flights may mean leaving Dubai late the night before, so plan a nap in the car

A second vehicle with a fresh driver will be waiting after the border to continue your journey. The entire process is coordinated in advance to minimise waiting times and ensure a seamless experience.
The Hatta handover
Your UAE driver stops at the exit post. After UAE exit control, a shuttle bus takes you to the Omani post for entry and customs (a small fee may apply). The Omani driver is waiting once you are through and drives you the rest of the way to the airport. Have passports and any Oman visa details ready, and keep your travel documents in a small bag separate from the suitcases.
From your Dubai address to MCT departures
We collect from Dubai International (DXB), Al Maktoum (DWC), Dubai Marina, Downtown, Business Bay, Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah and Mirdif. The drop‑off is the departures area at Muscat International Airport (MCT) in Seeb, with your bags unloaded at the kerb.
